Enrollment

Welcome to the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District! 

We are excited to welcome your student to TTUSD, whether they are beginning their educational journey or transferring from another district. 

TTUSD offers a neighborhood school for all geographic regions within our district. You can view the Elementary School Attendance Boundaries Map, which designates a student's home school.  However, TTUSD is an open-enrollment district which means you are welcome to apply to whichever school within the district best fits your student and their needs. This is done during the enrollment process with an IntraDistrict Open Enrollment Form.

Please note all students must initially enroll with their home school and submit an IntraDistrict Open Enrollment Form. As a district, we try to accommodate all IntraDistrict requests, but some requests are denied due to space limitations. Additionally, three of the elementary schools within our district have a lottery system to fill some or all of their enrollment spaces.

Aeries

TTUSD utilizes an online enrollment tool called Aeries for new students to the district, which families can complete in either English or Spanish. If you have a child that is already attending one of our schools and have an enrollment question, please contact your school’s Administrative Secretary for assistance. 

Process for New Student Enrollment 

  1. Complete online enrollment through Aeries.

  • Please note you can only enroll in Sierra Expeditionary Learning School if your student has already been accepted through their lottery system. 

  1. Once online enrollment is complete through Aeries, the school Secretary will reach out requesting the required documentation to be delivered prior to your student's start date. 

  • A proof of residency will be required which can be verified by submitting one of the following:

    • Mortgage/rental statement

    • Utility bill

    • Declaration of residency signed by a parent or legal guardian.

  1. Once all documents have been delivered to the school site, your enrollment will be complete.
     

  2. Following, you will receive an email from aeries@ttusd.org with instructions on accessing your Aeries Parent Portal account, www.ttusd.org/parentportal.
