Complaint Procedures

The TTUSD Board of Education Trustees and staff take all complaints seriously and it is the right of our parents, students and employees to have a formal process to report concerns. Below you will find links to our official complaint forms along with district staff contact information if you'd like to find out more information.  

TTUSD prohibits, at any district school or school activity, discrimination, harassment, including sexual harassment, intimidation and bullying, based on actual or perceived race, color, ancestry, nationality, national origin, immigration status, ethnic group identification, ethnicity, age, religion, marital status, pregnancy, parental status, physical or mental disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, or genetic information, medical information or association with a person or group with one or more of these actual or perceived characteristics. This shall apply to interns, volunteers, and job applicants when applicable.

Complaints may be brought forth by District parents, staff, students, and community. Complaints are respected and honored; there are no negative consequences for filing a complaint. Any student, parent or employee who files a Complaint or participates in an investigation shall be protected from retaliation.

Every attempt is made to resolve complaints informally and at the lowest level possible. In the instances when that is not possible, the District will formally process the complaint in accordance with District policy. The District will not investigate anonymous complaints unless the Superintendent or designee deems such an investigation to be necessary and appropriate.
